my dear friends i am no kiddy abusing play.com! I ordered PES6 from play.com and at the same time Gears of War from sendit.com...Gears of war arrived after 6 days... PES 6 arrived 1 month and 2 days later!!!!

I also know ppl from holland who spent ages waiting for PES!!

My brother bought a whole computer system recently from www.overclockers.com it arrived in 2 days!!! So wtf!!!Play cant deliver 1 DVD in a month and other retailers can deliver 2 huge boxes of hardware!!!

fish play.com i dont give a shit if we are blacklisted there are tons of sites who are more efficient and cheaper also one example is www.sendit.com

I would agree that it is Play.com's fault. They should make a disclaimer that you should at least wait 1 month before you can ask for a replacement. Play might be at a loss because they offer free shipping, thus they opt for low budget shipping which at times results in delayed posts. Then again the agreement is that you should return double posts not make a profit out of them.

If you are not abusing the system well and good and forgive me if I sound as if I am pointing my finger at you personally. But I know far too many people that ARE abusing the system.

the price play.com shows incorporates the shipping cost so you cant really say shipping is free...And what do you mean a client must wait for a month for a delivery!! If play state they will deliver an item between 3-6 days then thats what they should do....After over 2 weeks I personally start getting worried that my item has been lost or stolen..

Play.com states that you need to wait at least 15 days before ordering a replacement. True, you do start getting worried when the item does not arrive and I only had such problems with play.com. I did twice get a double post after a month had passed with no signs of the item arriving but the items where so cheap that I did thought it was not worth sending back.

Problem is when people start abusing the system and personally I know a few who do just that. I just hope that play.com and other websites blacklist people individually as opposed to blacklisting the country in question (like some non gaming sites did).

I find gameplay.com to be a better alternative overall and I do avoid ordering in december.

No sendit.com is not an alternative for those people who buy dvds, play.com was and is the best.

It has a great variety , along with excellent prices and yes free delivery. Sendit.com doesn't even begin with the variety that play.com offers for dvds.

Although yes i am quite angry that play.com sometimes take 1 month to deliver a DVD, on the other hand they always sent me a replacement when I had problems. And when the replacement did not arrive they gave me my money back. Find me someone in Malta who has this kind of service!

well it is kind of play's fault...
had a friend from school ordered a game's expasion pack around 10 he waited for 3 weeks for it he sends them that he did not receive it yet and they sent him a copy...
as soon as he receives the copy which was delivered with a note of apologies from play a week later he receives the original!
he contacted them that he received both and asked them what to do... reminding them that to send back will cost much more than the game...
they replied with keep it and happy holidays this happened last year if i'm not mistaken!

problema ta play ax tbh they are a bit disorganised, pero they offer lowcost shipping!... but sometimes people do it for gain i'm not pointing at neone here but like someone said earlier there are people who do it regular...

1.track parcel now adays exsist and if i'm not mistaken play has it or else they will tell you if parcel arived in country or not!

sometimes it can get lost in local post !!! believe me HAPPENS!
