season 1 deals with the story of Julius Ceasar basically, not 100% historically correct but its there more or less. But the roman culture they got right to all the tini wini details :)

season 2 is after he got assinated so I assume it will continue with the story with the rise of his nephew Octavian as the new emperor and probably the start of the Pax Romana.

Unless of course they twist the story completely since they want to make money now. Cos the original plan was to make only one season not 2 :rolleyes:
