As you've probably heard by now, Apple has rekindled the browser wars by releasing a beta of their Safari web browser for Microsoft Windows. Already, security vulnerabilities have been revealed within just a few hours of release. So far we're seeing a handful of denial-of-service bugs and at least two issues with Apple's code that would allow remote execution by a rogue host. Sure, some of the most visible claims come from the David Maynor who (in)famously called-out Apple with a MacBook WiFi hack only to be disemboweled by the hordes of Mac faithful. Still we're talking pre-release code so what do you expect? Besides, what better way to undermine an enemy than to present a concealed weapon in the form of a gift?
some more specualtions about the new browser can be found here:

basically, even mac users wouldn't run this browser lol

It took security engineers perhaps less than two hours yesterday to introduce Apple's surprise entry in the field of Windows browsers to the big, cruel world of exploits and vulnerabilities, following its introduction yesterday morning at WWDC. As a result, much of the clout Safari had received as the secure browsing alternative to Internet Explorer and Firefox -- as long as it was on a Macintosh -- was burned off like fire to a flash fuse.

Researchers intensively scanning the Mac-turned-Windows browser found as many as 18 problems in its first 48 hours. A beta version of Safari 3.0, Apples proprietary browser that once ran exclusively on Mac computers, was made available for Windows users this Monday. This would be normally enough to start a new, massive flame war between Apple and all other users - but fans of Microsoft got a vital argument on their side: Early reports popped up within hours of the beta software going live, with security specialists claiming bugs left and right. Aviv Raff, David Maynor, and Thor Larholm first made headlines with their bug reports. However, another researcher, Tom Ferris, has claimed the most security flaws, saying he found 10 bugs in less than five minutes.
Thats horrible, and just goes to show that they took no initiative to fuzz their own software, said Ferris in a PC Advisor story. Even though its still in its first public beta form, Ferris had harsh words for Apple. In order to have a useful beta test of a web browser people need to use it in the real world, which is ultimately exposing them to malware, he said. In the first 24 hours after Microsoft released a beta version of Internet Explorer 7 in February 2006, users found numerous bugs. Apple is feeling more backlash from this weeks reports, though, because of the companys long heralded tradition of providing extremely safe software. Prior to releasing the Windows beta, Apple claimed that Apple engineers designed Safari to be secure from day one.

The software isn't mature yet, give it time
If you guys want a reallly fast browser get K-meleon, based on gecko engine, and customizable, the only drawback compared to firefox is that not many extenstions are available for it
