Xbox Live Cancellation

The more I have to do with Microsoft the more I just dislike the company. Apparently you can activate an Xbox Live Gold account online and you can at any time edit card details and personal information. What you cannot do is CANCEL your account online. You have to call them to do that and the site offers little in the way of help on how to do that. This, to me, feels like a cheap tactic to leech as much money from people who cannot work around this issue or just cannot be bothered to phone in. Coupled with a support center which takes ages to answer your calls this all feels like a really bad scam. Good game Microsoft.

Yeah I heard about that. Infact what I'm gonna start doing is buy Gold cards from play.com, sort of like top-up cards for your account.

No credit card details with Microsoft, and they're cheaper too.

do yourself a favour and buy a ps3. from what I can tell MS & xbox have brought you too much grief.

jesus christ, do you have any commition from sony by any chance? in every thread there is in this section u always post same thing again and again, we got ur point, u like ps3, we dont, stop begging ppl to buy one, if they like it, they wont need ur begging i think no?

i just love my ps3 hehe, it has its bad things also, like to cancel my account i must do the same thing, the screwy thing is i cant edit anything from the pc it must be done from the console for now =/. the consoles are all like that

I used to love my 360 until it broke. Now I just like it. I plan on buying a PS3 further down the line. Right now it is just too expensive and I really need an HD TV.

ifhem im not really actin like a fanboy coz theres another bad thing for ps3, so u can play the game well or even read the writing well u need to fork out at least another lm200 for an hdtv. so the grand total for a ps3 would come around lm500 + games . HDMI wire is not included =/

Personally I wish I had bought a PS3 rather than a 360 at this point just because the PS3 is supported locally. I have come to appreciate exactly what that means through my experience with the 360.

ps3 is not even supported locally, not even the Store, i couldnt access it with a maltese account. i had to make a UK account and im still not allowed to use my credit card
