Is it worth it? What would you suggest? What is a MUST buy from that system if it is to be used for gaming?

Cheers

I'd suggest you build it from parts yourself. They don't give any details about motherboard, probably it's a crap one so check it out. For gaming, I suggest 8800GTS and not 8600, since you won't be able to play games like Moh airborne, bioshock etc on max, an x-fi soundcard, and the PSU is probably a cheap one, so be careful about that too.

ok, that's attempt number two. What am I missing? What should I change? From here on, I think he would rather lose some performance and save some more money, rather than increase performance for a higher cost.

The 5.1 speakers are a great pair. I'm most of the time with them. Only if i have an online game with friends will I use my headphones.

I think you should get down the monitor to a 20" widescreen and the money instead goes for a 2gb ram not 1gb. Games today work best with 2gb now. Unfortunately we've moved from the 1gb age.

As polter said, scrap the wireless equipment.

ye, i hate wireless too, but if they want wireless, they'll have wireless. lol.

I'm thinking of lowering the VGA card, its too much money i think! =S

also, I found better prices from MMD re: CPU and ram, saving about Lm60.

jekk il mobo tajba ija worth it, i would have prefered to invest more on the gfx and less on the cpu. if the mobo is a really gd one, like lm70ish the price adds up, but u have to consider the fact that ur buying everything from scan -_-
