Good Morning,

I'll be posting events and dates of upcoming tournaments to be withheld within the premises of LannersCafe. We'll be organizing events and posting in all gaming forums. The more you help us spread the word, the better it is more members better prizes.

As you all know the computers here at LannersCafe are well suited for the current modern games and the upcoming games. We've just installed CoD4 and were thinking about doing a quick tournament for it. But enough chit chat let's get down to business.

On the 18th of November were organizing a Command and Conquer: Tiberium Wars event. The entry fee will be of LM2. You will have unlimited hours of game play for this event; it will be a 2 vs 2 warzone with custom maps, and the good thing is even if you loose the first few battles, you will enter a looser bracket and still have a chance of winning a minor prize.

Depending on your response, the prize will be better and better. Hope to hear from you soon.

Tournament Details: Sunday 18th November at 10:00am
Tournament Event: The tournament will be played as follows, 2vs2 in each area. Meaning 10 games (20 players - 2 per teams). The 5 teams that win will face each other, the 5 teams that loose will face each other. So the winner in the top 5 will get a prize, and the winner in the loosing bracket will get a prize. This will make it fun for all team, pro or even if they have just started.

no there are going to be 10 matches for the first stage. So 5 winners and 5 loosers, the winners will battle between themselves - and the loosers will battle between themselves aswell. so there are total of 2 winners...looser and winner bracket! ok is that explained better?

let me see if i got this :p

10 2v2 matches (to see who`s good and who isnt)
then we`ll have the winner "league" and the loser "league"

so then they play X matches in the loser and winner "league" or bracket to see what position they will come in the "league" or bracket
is that correct?

if so how many matches will then be played once each "league" or bracket has been set up

There will be a total of4 matches per team im guessing. depends on the response. its looking good but 2 more teams would really help this 1st lanners cafe event. Also please check out the CoD4 Even i just posted....that is one tourny i wouldnt miss.

yeah tat was our highlight haha :p well we were ready to take u guys on as Nod and Scrin then u changed ur tacs last second hehe so we had to adjust nd since we had ran out of tib then we were screwed but it was a good game hehe....

we were disappointed we lost to stone and yayo we tried a diff tac nd it blew up in our face we werent as good at late game as they were nd as a result i got mothershipped lol :p

we shouldnt have changed to unfamiliar and untried tactics against them. and one of us really needs to learn to play as scrin, ore regrowers are wayyyyy to good not for everyone to have some sort of one
