then u should try this mod out

the idea of this mod is to create a more realistic combat environment than the original BF2 gameplay provided, and place a greater emphasis on teamwork and cooperation.

Project Reality primarily focuses on making gameplay more realistic and much more teamwork orientated, compared to unmodded BF2. The mod also features new factions, weapons and vehicles and also game modes.

i play this mod and currently is the only reason i play BF2

pS: when you install mods in BF2 u can still play normal BF2 or other mods you have installed just incase anyone that isn't used to mods is wondering.

Current Latest version is .61

and .7 is getting closer and is even better as with all the releases they had, they just keep getting better

also to use a NON ingame server browser i recommend you using Qtracker (i find it much better than the ingame browser) for this mod of course it has additional filters

look i' currently playing BF2 no mods but and its getting quite boring to be honest... the thing that u enter a server with every having full rank and having "super weapons" sucks and all i have is a G3 or an L8A... lol forgot the numbers this morning medic gun imsomma.

are there servers for this mod but...! if so i install it today :p

yes thers over 90 servers using Qtracker u can see them of course some are more active than others nearly always 3 are full servers (60 player) with good pings for me

get Qtracker tho :) its adware free dont wry and its good


and if by any chance server list refreshing or servers arent visible when u refresh disable your hamachi network from network connections

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND U READ THE MOD"S MANUAL
cause theres lots of difernet things like you have ti be in a squad to request a weapon class

unlike normal bf2 special weapon classes are seperate/limited and can only be requested at main bases or big bases

and flag taking is sequential so dont go camp their main base if u havent taken the front line :)

just instaleld the thign and read the manual, went to try to access a server twice and each time the game just closes :s, ever hapened?

so update bf2 cos thats probably the reason

may bad i have the 1.41, boq ill try reinstalling everything maybe it works

is it normal that the shortcut of pr on the desktop those not have an image :s, installed twice, its like its an unknown type for windows but the mod runs when double clicked :s

the icon possibly yes i think i do recall my adding the .ico myself

and as for the mod not working reinstalling bf2 and the mod itself might fix it a friend of mine had that problem and after that was done it fixed itself

dont feel like doing it right know, what i found is a thread with 3 pages seems that there are a lot of more people with the problem. some gave a link to the full version of pr which is nearly 2gb i will try to install that before i uninstall everything, bf2 is a bitch to install and patch -_-

problem solved, seems that when they link you to download the exe, they link you to the patch instead of the fullversion

there are 2 files you have to get the Core and maps

read the guide some things have changed

one of them is tankcrew a 2 man crew is recomended now

always or most of the time use VOIP for a better experience or join with a friend of yours :)
