I prefer The Kooks to be honest. Maroon 5 rode on the strength of a couple of good songs and that's all. If it were not free I would go to see them although going through that hassle to hear them play a couple of songs is not that worthed.

I Downloaded one republic cd yesterday, they are not that bad in fact i started liking them they play my kind of music. still not better than nada or coldplay i say, there are loads of other bands even wintermoods deserve better i say.

about inglesias god if i hear him whine again my heart will stop working for sure!

i love nerd its kkind of rock and RNB and RAP kind of got his own style of music but he doesn't even rank in my top 20.

about linkin park being rumored well..same old bullshit never dies i say last year there where rumors going round that coldplay where coming to town but hey we got stuck with inglesias, a rapper and an old band with minor success. So i guess we can forget of having linkin or coldplay here maybe next year :p

One republic where simply the best.....

Enrique very very good show....too many people went psycho when he was performing (povru subajja :<). Though I was very disappointed, that the show was the same (including the girl on stage that he chose) as last year. He didn't even sing his lastest hit.

The kooks.....was he high??? didn't like there performance at all.

N.E.R.D.......was too tired and left...

overall the concert wasn't that bad....it was damn hottttttttt l-aktar ghal dawk li huma qosra!

Iglesias made honorary citizen of Valletta



Enrique Iglesias has been made an honorary citizenship of Valletta by Mayor Paul Borg Olivier.

He received the citizenship certificate and commemorative gift in a brief ceremony held at the Grand Hotel Excelsior.

Iglesias is only the second foreign personality to receive this honour, the first having been Riccardo Muti last year.

Dr Borg Olivier said Valletta Council felt that since Enrique was so in love with Malta he was worthy of the honour. He described the singer as a person who brought people together from all over the world through the common language of music.
