this nifty site can calculate whether your psu is strong enough for your current hardware .
Also DO take note that some PSU `s such as the Q-tec 450W dual fan gold are not pure power meaning they peak at 400W and for example the thermaltake 480W butterfly peaks at 480W .

on the bottom left side it tells you 80% . if you change it to 100% its can show you what PSU power is necessary .
