First use this tool: uxpatcher (http://www.lucifiar.net/download/nw_uxpatcher.zip) which will patch your uxtheme.dll file so you can use any 3rd party visual style on Windows XP/SP1/SP2 and Windows Server 2003/SP1. File protection dialogs should be cancelled and a reboot is required after using this patch.

Then I downloaded this visual style: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/22429128/

Just set it through display properties ;) (right-click -> properties -> appearance -> set theme .)

regarding yz dock. i have a little problem.

if for instance i put the bar to the right, and im playing a game and i turn right, it minimises to desktop. is there any way around it?

min fejn tnizzel new themes u boot screens for stylexp ? when i click on download new theme/bootscreen etc etc. it takes me to themexp however whenever i click on any of the themes, it says that file cannot be found on server :/ Also g-lock, ever had problems with the boot screen, i applied one and when i booted up pc it asked me which i want to load :S

Microsoft xp .... (bootscreen)
Microsoft xp pro...

Both gave the default boot screen :(


ok fixed, didnt see the new entry in boot.ini that was being created, one more question...can you make the new bootscreen the default option ? so as not to ask you which you want ?

i use tuneup utilities for tweaking, styles etc, very hassle free, just dlaod themes and click apply , same goes for boot screens and welcome screens. quite a few nice themes.

never had problems with styleXP . remove the 3 sec delay on the boot screen selector , its in the program .

hi, it was bundled with alx and aurora series, but was made available later in a 3-part theme set on their site at http://www.alienware.com/intro_pages/invader.aspx They recently added a 4th theme as well

Very nice Snake. Winamp skin matches desktop. Simplicity is the way to go with desktops.. or else they loose their purpose.

yeye it is different hehe the default scenery of some places for fs2004 isnt correct to what they really are in real life.
there is scenery which i had installed couple of weeks back but i didnt like the textures, when i manage to find out how to change them to default ones i will use the better, more realistic lookin terminal etc hehe :)

try adding the main exe in the startup up items, if its not yet with them

its quite hard to use. i dont have the time to learn how to use the program. i downloaded a ready made config but i couldnt even make it work :/
