Has ne1 ever tried developing a small game/prog for the PSP?

there are lots of these things but unfortunately from the original firmware you cant run them :)

Sure you can cook up some homebrew games but it's very limited. And with each firmware release Sony locks out homebrew software but if you don't do them you'll miss out on the new features it provides. So you have to decide whether to stick to some old version to play your own (or other's) homebrew games or upgrade to release the full potential of your PSP.

My verdict after playing around with my brother's PSP? Sony can kiss my ass! and we sold the PSP :D
